Slopeside Lanes may be the first-ever slope-side bowling alley at a ski resort. Located at the end of the Snowmass Mall off Fanny Hill, the bowling alley features 8 full sized bowling lanes. Challenge Aspen hosts year-round adaptive recreational, educational and cultural opportunities for children with disabilities. Camps include music, art, dance and ski and snowboarding camps with special sessions for children with autism.
Ice Age Discovery Center
In 2010, one of Colorado’s most significant treasure troves of Ice Age fossils was discovered right here in Snowmass. Today, families can learn about this remarkable find at the Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Center at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall. Admissions is free!
Gather round! Some of the tallest tales in the wild west are uttered right here in Snowmass by master storytellers. This free program is held weekly.
The Snowmass Chapel offers a variety of children’s programming ranging from special events to the Camp Smashbox adventure camp to teen activities and a free day camp for kids ages pre-k through 6th grade.
Over 18,000-square-feet of pure recreation awaits at this spectacular new facility. Families could spend an entire day exploring the four saline outdoor pools with a water slide and water features, the bouldering cave, climbing walls, skate park, weight room, and more. The Snowmass Recreation Center also hosts a variety of Summer Camps for kids at the facility as well.
