The Spring Jam is back for its 19th year and is sure to be as action-packed as ever. As the years past have proved, this is one of the premier events in spring skiing across Colorado. From mid-March to the beginning of April, Snowmass and Aspen are chocked full of events fit for just about everyone.
From concerts to races to contests, Spring Jam is perfect for the entire family, whether you are dancing your heart away or just watching the madness unveil. Join the festivities in the Rocky Mountain sunshine and ski from event to event.
Concerts
Start the Spring Jam off with a couple fantastic bands at the base of Aspen mountain. The shows are both free and each entirely unique.
Chromeo – March 15th
This French duo is well known around the world for their modern take on classic funk music. They bring the 70s jams back with some electronic twists and great dance moves. There’s no better group to kick off one of the best events in skiing. Learn more
Robert Rudolph & The Family Band – March 16th
The next evening, the long-awaited Robert Rudolph will perform under the night sky with their lovely soul music. This group began playing their unique blues and soul sounds in a New Jersey church and have continued on with their classic gospel style. Learn more
Terrain Park Bootcamp – March 16 – 24th &
This mini camp is the perfect opportunity for you or the kids to give some jumps and rails a try for the first time, or perfect some skills you have been working on. There will be pros on-site to assist with learning and perfecting those freestyle moves. Learn more
Ullrhof Games – March 17th
This event is a little less family-friendly than the rest and more aimed towards the drinking crowd. The Games consist of various classic drinking games at the Ullrhof Restaurant in Snowmass. Teams of two compete for all sorts of prizes and bragging rights. Learn more
Helly Hansen 4 MTN Mission – March 17th
“The Helly Hansen 4 MTN Mission will take you on an adventure scavenger hunt race across the four ski areas of Aspen Snowmass. Starting in Snowmass and ending in Aspen, there will be two separate missions with one that highlights some of our best intermediate and expert terrain and another geared towards families that will stick to more beginner to intermediate terrain.” Learn more
Freestyle Friday – March 22nd
This Bumps challenge is an ode to the 90s and good times on the hill! Bring your best denim and retro gear, as well as your most impressive freestyle moves for a chance to win prizes and cash. Learn more
Kick Aspen Big Air – March 22nd
The annual big air contest held at the base of Aspen Mountain brings pros from all over the state and even the country to compete for a $5000 cash purse. A fantastic spectators event for the whole family. Learn more
Banked Slalom – March 24th
Finish off the weekend with the 6th Annual Snowboard Banked Slalom. There are events for both pros and amateurs, so anyone is welcome! Speed down the slalom course for your chance at bragging rights. Visiting racers can purchase discounted day tickets in order to join the fun. Learn more
