Spring time in Snowmass is one of the best times to enjoy the newly thawed out hiking trails. The days are getting warmer and the trees are starting to sprout their leaves. We have put together a helpful list of some of our favorite hiking trails in the Snowmass area.
Rim Trail.
The Rim Trail traverses the west and north rims of Snowmass Village and is a good hike for anyone. This hike is known for its impressive views and the “yin/yang” at the top, perfect for that photo op.
Ditch Trail
The Ditch Trail is a nice flat hike perfect for the beginner. This leisurely stroll encapsulates beautiful views of Mt. Daly. nd the surrounding Snowmass Creek Valley.
Tom Blake Trail
The Tom Blake Trail is more of an intermediate hike but loved by many. This hike runs across the ski area and is easy to find yourself emersed in nature.
Government Trail
If you’re looking for a longer hike then the Government Trail is for you, it can even take you all the way to Aspen. Hiking this trail will be sure to put your mind at ease.
Vista Trail
The trailhead is located at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola. The hike continues to the top of Elk Camp where the views are well worth every step.
