Every year, The Meeting comes to Aspen and brings like-minded individuals from around the country to connect and learn more about the snow sports industry. The conference is designed to inspire and educate people across sports and job titles. Rather than a typical conference, this of it as a meeting in the mountains for skiing and snowboarding industry professionals.
The Film Festival portion of the meeting, open to the public, is a carefully curated collection of the year’s best ski and snowboard films. This will be the Film Festivals 14th season in Aspen. Screenings will take place on the Aspen Sundeck, the Belly Up Aspen and of course, the Wheeler Opera House.
The Conference portion begins on Monday, October 1st and runs until Thursday, October 4th. You can find a detailed schedule here. You’ll hear from gurus and experts such as Carolyn Coyne, Facebook’s Global Lead of Facebook Creative Shop, Chris Cunnigham, Co-Founder and COO of Rylo, Ryan Kingman, Co-Founder of Stance and many more.
The Meeting Filmfest will run from Thursday, October 4th to Saturday, October 6th. The first nights events will conclude with a screening of Free Solo, Friday will showcase primarily ski films, and Saturday will show a few snowboard films, finishing with Easy Giant at the Belly Up.
