Snowmass Lost Forest - Family Fun in Aspen

Hidden among the Aspen woods there lies an adventure park perfect for the whole family. Whether you’re 5 or 50, it has thrills for all. The Lost Forest on Snowmass Mountain has an exciting, safe ropes course for the little ones, the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, the Rugged Ascent Climbing wall and a Canopy Run Zipline tour.

A day at the Lost Forest is like exploring the rugged Rocky Mountains, but a little safer and more comfortable than mountain climbing. The kids can try their hand at authentic rock climbing and face their fears on the ropes course. Brand new to Snowmass Village this summer, the zipline will excite the whole family, reaching a max speed of 40 m.p.h!

If pure excitement isn’t your cup of tea, there’s also beginner fly-fishing for the kids and half-day tours for adults. The Roaring Fork Valley is home to some of the best trout fly fishing in the country, so there’s no better place to give it a try.

For the older kids in all of us, Snowmass Mountain also offers a full outdoor paintball course. Mixing natural and manmade features, paint balling at Snowmass is a true adrenaline rush.

Don’t want to shell out $200+/person for a round of golf? The Lost Forest has two full-size disc golf courses, free to use as long as you have your own disc frisbees. Combine the two courses for 18 holes of a laid back version of golfing. Many locals prefer disc golfing to the traditional sport, as it allows you to get into the woods without the worry of losing balls to the water trap every drive.
