Outside Magazine says that the mountain biking trails of Snowmass are an adrenaline rush with the only lift-served 4,000-foot mountain-bike descent in the U.S., starting above the treeline.

- SUMMER MUSIC
Listening to incredible bands play on an outside stage while watching the sunset and the stars emerge in an emerald-blue sky above silhouetted mountains is a favorite for locals and visitors. - FAMILY FISHING
If fishing is on your agenda, there are plenty of hikes one can take to beautiful high alpine lakes where the surrounding peaks and serenity will nurture the soul. Also, both the Roaring Fork River and the Frying Pan River have been designated Gold Medal Waters by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Only 168 miles of Colorado’s 9,000 miles of trout streams have made the cut. Snowmass is ideally situated as a convenient starting point to either of these rivers.
- RUN & GUN PAINTBALL
If you have never enjoyed a game of paintball than it might be time to try. Recommended for ages 8 and up this could possibly be one of the most fun activities you’ll ever encounter. Slopeside Lanes Bowling Alley is the highest-altitude bowling alley west of the Continental Divide.
