2. Have the right equipment
Powder skiing can be the best time in your life or an absolute struggle without the right gear. Fat skies, warm outerwear, a good helmet and you’re on the way to an amazing day.
3. Stretch
Skiing powder is exhausting. It’s even tougher, and potentially dangerous, if you’re stiff. Stretch those legs, spine and get limber before hitting the hill.
4. Ski with people who are better than you
Getting left in the dust is never fun but watching friends who know what they are doing will drastically help your skiing. Let your friends know that you’re open to tips and criticism and the learning curve will be cut in half.
5. Have fun
Skiing powder can be difficult and downright frustrating. But with a good attitude you’re likely to have a great day no matter how many times you fall. Enjoy it!
