If you’re in Denver, you can now decide whether you want to be one of the thousands waiting in line on the Front Range resorts, or give something new a try. The full Ikon Pass boasts unlimited access to Eldora, Winter Park, Steamboat, a handful of East Coast and California mountains including Mammoth and Squaw Valley, and 7 days to resorts such as Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole and Revelstoke. And don’t worry, there are no black out dates on that pass.
Not only does this pass offer access to multiple resorts within a quick drive from Denver, but the option to spend multiple weekends in Snowmass is a serious plus in our book. If you were to spend 7 days skiing Aspen Snowmass, or 7 days at any one of these resorts for that matter, the pass pays for itself. If you use it regularly and visit some of the bucket list spots included (Banff, Deer Valley, Big Sky) this pass could have you skiing for around $20/day.
For Southern Californians, this pass is also a no-brainer. Offering full-access to Mammoth, June and Big Bear, there’s really no better option for the region. As Vail expands its famous Epic pass, California, Colorado, Canada and East Coast ski resorts have teamed up to create some competition. Not only is it cheaper, or similar to the price of many 1-resort season passes, you have the option to travel and ski too many great resorts to name.
There’s also the Base Pass option priced at $599 if you don’t see yourself taking big ski trips all winter long. That Base Pass is still an amazing option for Denver and Front Range residents, as you receive unlimited access to Eldora, Winter Park and Steamboat as well as 5 days to Aspen Snowmass and plenty of other destination locations.
With those 5-7 days to Aspen Snowmass, you could ski or snowboard too many laps to count, without the dreaded lift lines and crowded slopes found in the Front Range. Rather than loading up the car after a long day of skiing, how about strolling over to one of the numerous apres bar or restaurants in Snowmass and Aspen. We believe there’s nothing better than happy hour after skiing, and have heard that they don’t allow nachos and margaritas on I-70.
Don’t wait until the last minute to get your Ikon Pass and enjoy the winter as its meant to be. The pass is on sale now and Stonebridge Condominiums is taking reservations next year already.
